Ha a 1993 Toyota Camry 1993 4 cylinder 2.2 engine.
the car starts and runs fine for a while, sudlently it stops runing, usually during acceleration. After resting a while starts again and runs for another while. Changed the fuel pump and filter. During the stop period no current to cylinders

If you are not getting fuel to the engine, check the fuel pump relay. Also, check to make sure there is power to the relay when it doesn't run.

Just had a similar problem with my corrola, put a new battery in and it ran great for a while then died, charged the battery and it work again for a while the the battery light came on so I hooked up a volt meter and discorvered my alternator is fried! Mine did exactly the same thing, died during acceleration, ran great on the highway though!
