I have a 1993 Lincoln Town Car. It runs great, but when I've come to a complete stop and let up off the brake it tries to shut off. When this problem existed I noticed the idling of the car stays kinda high. What's my issue? It shuts off?

Check the vacuum hose that runs from the vacuum brake booster to the intake manifold. Make sure there is not a vacuum leak. Also, check the vaccum booster by doing the following test;
Before starting car pump the brake pedal and then hold down with foot. Start the car, the pedal should drop under the pressure of your foot. If it remains hard and does not drop the vacuum power barke assist booster is bad.

I am also going to give you a walk through diagnostic that covers the most likely issues the make an engine stall.Just follow the link below;
