I understand that the correct torque is 25 foot pounds and 90 degrees and 90 degrees but I would like a diagram of the torque sequence. If possible.

I have a repair manual both the book and CD. In the book it tells me that the bolts should be tightened to 25 foot pounds of torque plus an additional 90 degrees, but on the CD it tells me to tighten the bolts to 25 foot pounds of torque plus an additional 180 degrees. I was wondering which one is the proper way to tighten the bolts?

Hi there,

Step 1. 25Tf/ib
Step 2. 90 Deg
Step 3. 90 Deg.

Do not tighten 180 Deg in one go, this must be done in 3 steps and new head bolts must be used with all torque to yeald bolts.
