FORD E-SERIES VAN FUEL PRESSURE PROBLEM

1993 Ford E-Series Van • 171,000 miles

HELLO MY PROBLEM STARTED FROM THE WATER PUMP THE BOLTS BROKE OFF IN THE TIMING COVER I DRILLED THEM OUT WATER PUMP IS FINE THE TRIED TO CHANGE THE THERMOSTAT THE BOLT BROKE OFF IN THE LOWER INTAKE REPLACED THE LOWER INTAKE AND FUEL INJECTOR SEALS CAUSE THEY WHERE BROKEN EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED EVEN REPLACED THE THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR AND CAR WONT START I BELIEVE WHEN YOU TURN THE KEY FORWARD GAS CIRCULATES THREW THE GAS RAIL BUT I PRESS THE RELEASE NOTHING COMES OUT BUT IF I HOLD IT AND SOMEONE TRIES TO START IT GAS SHOOTS OUT PLEASE HELP ME OUT

Scan for codesa nd check fuel pressure first. Recheck your work to make sure everything is hooked up CORRECTLY

I DID THE ONLY CODE READING OUT IS ABOUT THE CANISTER AND OXYGEN SENSOR BUT VAN WAS RUNNING PRIOR TO ME CHANGING

CHECK THE PRESSURE WHILE TRYING TO START OR WITH KEY ON ENGINE OFF

Check fuel pressure and recheck everything

Key on engine off 30-45 psi I really think you got soem wires hooked up wrong or you blew a fuse underhood.

I TOOK IT APART 12 TIMES EVERYTHING IS TIGHT AND PERFECT IM MORE THINK SOMETHING WITH THE FUEL PUMP OR SUME HOW SHOULD I CHECK THE PRESSURE I KNOW ITS SUPPOSE TO BE FROM 30-45 KOEO AND 35-45 KOER

Then go to the basics, is it getting spark is it in TIME? Is it getting fuel. If you odn't have a gauge auto parts tores rent these kits as you may need an adapter to check fuel pressure.
