Fuel Problems
Hello
I have a 1993 dodge intrepid 3.5 ltr. Since i got this car it has a hesitation problem when accelerating, the funny thing is that i only get this hesitation when the check engine light comes on. When i turn of the car and turn it back on the light disappears and the car runs just fine again. Later on i get the light and the hesitation and on and on. Also I dont kno if this could be related but i have VERY low milage and strong gas smell. Thanks in advance.

Once the Check Engine light has turned on, there will be a diagnostic fault code stored in the Engine Computer. The place to start is by reading those codes. You can do that yourself or many auto parts stores will read them for you for free.
