Toyota Camry 134a Problem
Hi, dear manager, good afternoon,
my car is 1992 toyota camry. A/c used r12 , but i alrady recharged 134a at franks auto (323)730-1225 in los angeles. beacuse the frank said to me that's ok befor recharge. i sawed he only do vacuumize use machine.
but someone told me have become problem to compressor if do this. i just wonder what i can do right now.

Is your AC system retrofit to 134?

Dunno if R12 is still available, which probably don't exist anymore-you need to have it retrofitted

so sorry, your mean is , i can keep use that r12 system but recharged r134a if available , right?

No, you need to have it retrofitted, meaning changing the accumulator or the receiver/dryer to use the R134a or use an alternative refrigerants on the existing unit-
