Just had fuel pump replaced on 92 pontiac grand am 3.2 engine, 176k, now I am told have serious anti freez leak, what can I do? They need to remove ingine to replace gaskets?

From what I am told: they would be replacing the gaskets, that have to do with the radiator, theysaid that with the GM cars the gaskets have a tendecy to wear out? I hope I am kaming sence so you can understand, (I am 70 plus years old) smile.

I think you should get a second opinion at a different shop. Yes, the intake gaskets go all the time on those but you DO NOT have to remove the engine to repair them. It's only about a 4 hour job.

That's more like it. They are not removing the engine for that price. That is reasonable and very common
