Dead engine
My 1992 Lexus ES300 stopped running. I pulled over and turned the key. it would start and immediately stop. i'd rev it to see if it would keep running, only to disappointment.
Since then, I replaced the battery, had the alternator tested, tested the ignition coil, changed the pcv, distributor, and tested for spark. No spark and I can't smell fuel with the plug out. The car will turn, but the top half won't go. I've put too much money into it already and need some advice.

The car will turn, but the top half won't go. Check the timing belt

the distributor turns which means the timing belt does too.

I was told the electrical system has a ground in it. With a test light connected from the positive cable to the terminal, the light turns on when the radio fuse is pulled or the door is opened.
