1992 Dodge Ramcharger Transmission problems

After putting transmission kid in. All forward gears work fine. But in reverse it want to lock up And have to give it a lot of gas to move. And in park it feels like it still in a forward gear. But of course wont move.

Based on your description, it sounds like the low / reverse clutch pack retaining clip has come loose and allowing the transmission to try to go forward in all gears. What happens in neutral? What have you actually replaced?

In neutral it tries to go forward. Note: One electrical plug to tranny is not hooked up.

IF it is trying to go forward in drive, I really question the low /reverse clutch pack always being engaged. Do you know what plug isn't attached?

Not real sure. I think it's overdrive. Neutral/reverse switch is hooked up. So I'ill tear tranny out and take it apart. Thank you for your advice. Next time I'ill make donation.

Did you have the clutch packs apart? I hate to see you have to remove the transmission if you don't have to.
