Hi my a/c light keeps coming on in my 1992 Cadillac Deville. It says refrigerant is low. It comes up with an F48 code. It has R12 refrigerant in it. I have a 30LB tank of r12. My question is what is the low side pressure suppose to be at and what does the high sides need to run also. Thanks.

You can't accurately determine how much refrigerant is in a system by looking at pressures. There are far too many things that will effect pressure readings. The only way to resolve this is to completely evacuate the system and recharge it with the EXACT WEIGHED charge of refrigerant. Too much is just as bad as too little. The charge has to be accurate to within 2 tenths of an ounce.
