How do I make my engine temp gauge work

My engine temp gauge stop working. Where do I find the sensor on the engine? And what is best fix.

Chances are the temp sensor is bad. It should be either in the front of the head or near the thermostat.

IF I PLUGGED THE INFO IN CORRECTLY--THIS FITS A 2.5 LITER AND A 4.0 LITER

LOOKS VERY SIMILAR TO ONE FOR A CJ, 'CEPT CJ HAS A STUD TYPE CONNECTOR, THIS ONE HAS A BLACK PLASTIC CONNECTOR

THE HEX IS NOT BIG--MOST LIKELY A 1/2 OR A 9/16 SOCKET OR WRENCH
