1991 buick lesabre 3.8 auto 142000 miles. After cold start at about 20 miles the engine starts cutting out it usually bucks 2 or 3 times and then comes out of it. Sometimes it stalls out but always restarts. Mechanic says no codes to read. He said to replace coil pack and module.I did replace with used, this did not help. Thanks

Lack of acceleration, chugging, hesitating********, bogging, misfiring etc. Could be caused by one of the following below

Oxygen sensor.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Crankshaft position sensor
Knock sensor
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
False air leakage.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard it and keep testing.
