1990 Nissan Axxess, Where are the fuel filter and fuel pump located?

The fuel filter is found near the right rear wheel area and is covered by a protective plate. It is a pleated paper filter housed in a metal shell to withstand the higher fuel pressures of fuel injected vehicles.
Thhe fuel pump is in the fuel tank to get to it-lift up on the lower portion of the rear seat
