How do you tell if the harmonic balancer needs replacing, as this model has a solid balancer, with no rubber
This is the short wheel base model

If the balancer really has not rubber in it, then it wouldn't actually be a balancer and would serve no purpose and the only way it could fail is in the mounting to the crankshaft.
