If it is running normally then shuts off I would be looking at the ignition switch, if it is running on, that is turning the key off and it runs very roughly, knocks and rattles, this is a timing problem and can be related to excessive carbon build up on the piston, of the two what is yours doing?

Neither one of those sir. I tested to see if it is getting gas it is. Then checked to see if its Getting Spark! It does & then it Doesn't! Once I get it started I have to hold the throttle down to keep it running! Once I let off it stops & gets hot this All happens in less then 5 Minutes. All this After Changing Cap rotter & Plugs! I Just Don't Understand. Help Please Thank You.

Check that you have not disturbed any vacuum lines and if fitted the idle compositor is plugged in and working, this is a solenoid with one wire in the carby.
