push the gas it stalls before it takes off

Why when I push the gas it stalls before it takes off I got put more gas to it before it will ride like it suppose to. I got to put more gas then what I suppose to put to it like when I first crank up and I push the gas it will move alittle and stalls and it will move but it act like it want to shut off but will not then and when it stalls like that I got to push the gas alittle more before it will ride right and when im driving the car will start shaking but when I put more gas to it it levels out

And u can smell gas off and on from the back of the car

Check the fuel pressure if its within specs
