TRUCK LEAKS RIGHT AFTER I TURN IT OFF
1989 Ford F-150 • 200,000 miles
My truck always leaks whenever i shut it off, it seems to be coming from between the bell housing and the engine, and its dark, so it should be engine oil. It's fine while its running, it only leaks for a little bit right after i shut it down, only makes a puddle about the size of my open hand.
That would be rear main crank seal
Is it an easy fix? Is it urgent? and about how much do you think it would cost?
Need to remove trans so @ $500-$700 as long as keep oil in engine and don't park in my driveway keep driving. it may get to piont where oil runs out faster than can out in
Okay, thanks for the help
