Hello. I have a Chevy G20 Sprt van, 1989. That has a heating issue. Very little if any heat is output even once the engine heats up. A mechanic at autozone told me to flush the heating hoses and unit with a regular garden hose (i dont have the money to have someone fix it professionally.) Is this solution viable. And if so. How do I get it done?

Install the tee then attach the hose run untill th water runs clear. Block the open end of the hose with a short piece of hose and a bolt.
