How do you replace the ignition cylinder in a chevy truck?

My ignition cylinder is worn out and the original keys wont work anymore ...i just bought a new ignition cylinder and need to know how to remove the old one and install the new one

You need to remove the steering wheel to access the ignition switch. Once it is off, you will have access to the switch.

Remove steering wheel. Remove plate under steering wheel. Then refer to the picture below.

Right click on the word 'Thumb' in my post above and select "Save Link As" and save it to a location that you can find. Then change the extension from large.jpg to large.pdf. Then open it in Acrobat.
