So I've been having problems with my electrical. The radio works when It wants, the fuel gauge and temperature gauge work on and off together. I've changed just about every fuse inside the vehicle and nothing changes. Also the windows barely want to roll up at times. I've had this car for about 6 to 9 months and it usually runs great until recently since the fuel gauge didn't work I ran out off gas about 3 times. Now I know to monitor mileage and how many gallons I have. Well today I put 5 gallons in it. Drive it about 35 miles, mind you it gets about 15mpg. Well I picked up my kids and was at a red light, when I pushed on the gas it started accelerating like normal and then it started sputtering like it was going to run out of gas. I then tried to make it through the intersection and pressed on the gas a little more then normal and it jolted and sped up very fast. I got in the middle Kane just in case and was going to turn down my street and it started sputtering again. So I pushed the gas like before ands I took off. I managed to get down my street and hightailed it to make it as far as I could. Once I reached a good speed I put it in neutral and coasted around the corner and down the alley to my house. Put it back into drive to make it over the asked bump and it sputtered all the way into the parking spot. I know it should not be out of gas. I don't know what it is but I hope its minimal. Please help me.

I would suggest that you get the fuel filter changed and get the fuel pressure tested, I feel that the problem lies here.

Ok I'll do that also I had put 5 more gallons in it and drove 35 miles and my gas light came on which only works when It wants to. Yet I should of got double that if not a little more. Could those also contribute to that?

Check the tune as well, look at fuel pressure reg, if that is faulty the higher pressure will cause excessive fuel consumption.
