I have a 1988 Chev. S-10 pick-up 2.5L original owner

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ep4ewbkdjMw

This link shows a problem that neither a new ECM or Ignition Module in the distributer has corrected. This problem is intermittent and seems to occur after it has wormed up. Engine runs great when this problem does not exsist.

HELP!

Hey dude, super video. What is that on the injector connector, is that melted, soldered or what? Use a noid lite, when the problem is ongoing. Maybe faulty injector or wiring circuit?

Any applicable trouble codes?

Just a rubbery boot that seals the connection. What is a "noid lite"?
Couldn't say about trouble codes, I never received that info if any, when it was in the shop. For the wiring harness, from the ECM to components, it supposedly check out o.K.

A noid lite will check for injector pulse. The autostore sells them.

You can check mil codes yourself, At the data link connector, use a jumper wire between terminals A & B, turn key just till the dash lites come on, no further, no crank. The mil should start flashing, you count the flashes to get the codes. Your looking for two digit codes.
