1987 Ford F-250 engine problems

The truck usaly runs fine but when you shut it off after running it for more than 30 min it starts to run backwards for a couple of seconds. Idk what could cause it. Someone tolde it could be the carb is to rich or flooding out. But idk never had This kind of trouble before

It sounds like the engine is dieseling. That happens when the carbon on the tops of the pistons gets red hot and the engine tries to run after being shut off. Try this. Run the fuel low in the tank and refill it with premium fuel. Also, add a cleaner to the fuel. Run that and see if it changes.

I've tried to do that and also ran sea foam through the vacuum lines
