Not sure what mean by "switch" what is problem? fuel pressure regulated by regulator see diagrams

if the car sits for a few days it won't start unless you give it a small shot of starting fluid.then at low speed it will run rough and misfires. if you push the pedal down to speed up it will take of like a bear. i,ve been told it needs a new fuel pressure regulator.

Pressure test will tell if that's it 41-47 psi key on engine off. attach guage to schrader valve on fuel rail
