Hi john this is pretty simple get the car blocked safely so you have room to get under it use a wide drain pan. Remove bolts from trans pan all except the 4 at each corner. Now align your drain pan at either end remove the bolts from this end fluid will start draining loosen bolts as fluid drains when all drained out remove the other bolts.

You are now looking at the trans filter this will either have a cpl bolts or just sticks into a hole in the trans remove the filter install the new one. Next thouroughly clean pan inside and out remove old gasket and clean gasket area.

Now you will see on your new gasket there are some bolt holes that are smaller install bolts in these holes put pan back on start these bolts now start all bolts making sure they all go throubh the gasket. Tighten them all bye hand then snug them down evenly all the way around. Add your fluid run check for leaks check fluid level
