My dads toyota land cruiser with a v8 holden commodore motor is playing up, what can be done to fix it? Please see details.
My dad has a toyota land cruiser, 1984 model. It's a v8 with a holden commodore motor. It's recently started having trouble with the gear box, transmission and motor and has started overheating. Any advice on what the problem could be and how to fix it?

Take it to the scrap yard and use the money towards a new car

So you have three seperate issues?Please tell me more about them?The last poster may have some good advice if its too far gone it really wouldnt be worth fixing.
