My mustang will not stay cranked it idle up and down then cuts off until it gets warm and it may stay crunk

From I get from your question it idles are not steady it goes up and down. Is it a carb or fuel injection? You need to check for a vacuum leak and has the engine been modified in any way? All of this can effect it.

Scan for codes and check fuel pressure with a gauge then check for a vacuum leak like hoses cracked/broken etc. Clean throttle plate on both sides. And iac hole with choke cleaner
