how do you get tdc on a 1978 southwind rv engine is a 360 or a 440?

"Replied on December 31, 2010"----AND READ THE NEXT TWO ENTRIES I MADE TO THIS JEEP CJ 7 304 (V-8) POST...HE HAD TO TRANSLATE ALSO FROM MY "6" TO HIS "8"


YOU DO NOT HAVE TO TURN THE ENGINE OVER WITH THE STARTER---THIS CAN PROBABLY BE DONE WELL USING A 1/2 DRIVE RATCHET ON THE
HARMONIC BALANCER BOLT
