YOUR PICS MAY BE TOO BIG. MIGHT HAVE TO RESIZE 'EM

DOES IT "TRY" TO BUST OFF WITH FUEL ADDED TO THE CARB?

WHAT ENGINE YOU GOT?

IS YOUR CHOKE BUTTERFLY STANDING VERTICAL WHEN IT'S AT OPERATING TEMP?

HAVE YOU PULLED A PLUG WIRE AT THE PLUG---SHOVED A PAPER CLIP ETC BETWEEN THE RUBBER AND RING. HELD IT 3/16 - 1/4 INCH OFF OFF SOMETHING METAL--TURNED THE ENGINE OVER. BRIGHT BLUE SPARK?

YOU GOT POINTS. OR WHAT NOW?

ANY MODS TO THE IGNITION SYSTEM?

ANY RECENT FIXES?----TUNING UP?---CHANGES?

LOOK OVER YOUR SOLENOID CONNECTIONS

GOT A VOLTMETER TO TEST WITH?

YOUR TURN

THE MEDIC

Check points and see if you are getting fire to spark plugs, it may need a carb overhaul as the alcohol can screw these older carbs up pretty good. See if you are getting fuel or not aslo throw that damn can of ether away it damages the engine. Check dist carefully as the breaker plate on these wore out and would not work the points very well. If it is electronic and is a ford unit then check resistnace of pickup coil shold be in 400-800 ohm range. Also check the electronic box on fender if you have electronic only.
