Car Repair Advice by Professional Automotive Experts

2CapPros.com’s core purpose - is to save people time and money, to empower consumers with non-biased knowledge necessary to demand high-quality, fairly-priced services, to educate the D-I-Y community on how to solve problems for themselves. To provide one-of-a-kind repair trouble-shooting and service instructions, to change the perception of the repair industry as a whole, to reward those technicians who adhere to transparent and accountable business practices and who have the users best interest in mind (i.e. they just want to help). Bob and Ken, a father and son team of master car repair technicians with more than 45 years of experience in the automotive repair and computer diagnostic fields. Ken and Bob are highly skilled in mechanical theory while exhibiting an extraordinary talent to discover and solve problems. 2CarPros.com was created in 1999 and now has grown to be the internet's best resources for free car repair questions, answers and service information.

Car Question Forum: User-submitted questions are answered by an ever-expanding number of professional repair technicians. How 2CarPros.com Works:

Questions by Make (a searchable database with over 500K previously answered auto repair questions by manufacturer): Allows the user to select whether they want questions answered by Ken and Bob (which is not as customizable and serves the information as a listing of questions and answers) or by the professional automotive community (which has more answers, is more interactive and has more drill down capabilities).
• When a user submits a question it goes into a queue that is monitored 24/7. Questions that have donations get answered first.
• Allows the users to select their manufacturer (i.e. Acura), which then serves answers based on make (i.e. Acura CL) and then answers based on the year and specific problem or part (i.e. Acura CL Acceleration) and then includes the number of replies.
• When a user clicks through these options, they are provided with:
• The answer to the question and an indication if that user has donated before.
• Which technician submitted the answer (but no profile access) and ratings on the technician if available.
• The ability to provide feedback or reply to the question.
• The ability to find an Acura CL car repair manual.
• The ability to translate the topic in another language via Google’s translation tool.
• The ability to make a small donation to accelerate the response rate of a question being answered.
• It also serves Related Subjects and Manufacturer Specific questions and answers.
• Questions by Topic/Problem Category (a searchable database of previously answered auto repair questions by topic): Separates the questions by Engine Performance, Engine Mechanical, Engine Electrical, Cooling System, Drive Train, Climate Control, Filters, Body Electrical, Body Controls, Brake System, Fuel Alternative and Miscellaneous.

• Then they are served general information about that topic (i.e. Batteries), with links to specific questions and answers (i.e. why is my car battery dead overnight).
• It includes Troubleshooting, Manufacturer Specific Dead Car Battery Questions and Answers, Related Subjects and in-text links to other relevant parts of the site.
• Also serves Latest Car Repair Videos and Related Subjects, and links to Repair Manuals.
• Ask A Car Repair Question: Allows a user to enter in Year, Make, Model, Mileage, Engine Size, Wheel Drive Type, Transition Type, Problem Category, Subject, Message, Upload A Picture, Donate Money To Question (a process that goes direct to the certified technician answering the question, it is a guaranteed answer with professional and timely follow ups, and money back guarantee) or Free Question (non-certified technicians that not guaranteed to get an answer).
• Car Repair Troubleshooting (When a car has a problem check this section where users will find the DIY troubleshooting guides): Includes First Things To Check (with highlights for new entries) and in-text links to other relevant information.
• When a user clicks on one of the topics (i.e. Why My Engine Won’t Crank Over and How Do I Repair It?), they are served a series of general questions as well as Troubleshooting Procedures, complete with actual images that may contain diagrams.
• Other options include links to Repair Manuals for specific repair procedures for any of the steps list and links to said problem (i.e. Check Manufacturer Specific Engine Will Not Crank Questions and Answers).
