I took the window cables off the motor, one goes on the top of the reel and the other goes on the bottom. I need to know the cable that makes the window go up where is it placed on the motor top or bottom of the reel.

Good evening,

Why did you remove the cables? They should never be touched as they should be spring loaded.

Did they come off?

One cable came off. This is what I need to know on the spool they have two inserts one at the top for one cable and one at the bottom for the other cable. When the window goes up what cable goes on the top insert? And to make the window go down where do you place that cable?

It is one cable that connects to each end. When the motor runs, it moves the whole cable which drives the regulator up or down.

There are not two separate cables, they is only one cable.

Have you ever been to New Orleans? That is where I live. If you ever get a chance, grab up the family and come see the Mardi Gras.
