My car only overheats when using air conditioner

Check that the fans are coming on when the AC is on. Make sure that the radiator and AC condenser are clean so air passes through the fins easily. If those are okay it may be that the cooling system needs to be flushed and checked, the AC dumps a lot of extra heat into the system and the radiator may not be able to handle it.
