Driving doing 70 starts to smoke pull over towed to shop radiator empty. Turns over wants to start a lil thump battery will not stay charged

Good morning.

Unfortunately if the engine was smoking and the cooling system empty, there's a very good chance the engine has been damaged. If you want to verify this yourself, you can perform an engine compression test following the quick video instruction below.
