I just asked a question, but this I believe is unrelated to my first question. I have a warning light on that is a yellow triangle with an exclamation point in the center. There is a circle around the triangle starting about four o'clock and ending at about eight o'clock and at the right o'clock end is an arrow point. Under the triangle between the open ends of the arrow it has a 4x4 symbol. I get no codes for this and it has been on for a few months. Anyone know what I need to look for?

Yeah, you need the BMW specific scan tool. That light is telling you there is a problem in the all wheel drive system.

You can try a couple things to see if it goes away.
Turn the steering wheel to the left lock then back to the right side lock and then back to center.
The other is to disconnect the battery for five minutes and see if the system corrects itself.
