2000 Volvo V40 windshield wipers

The windshield wipers will not work on intermittent, they work on slow, fast and mist, I have replaced the wiper motor and switch.
any ideals?

Your central electronic module has an internal relay for the wiper motor so that could be the cause of your intermittant problem? If the CEM is the problem VOLVO would be the one to replace it since software is needed for the new module so I would recommend you take to VOLVO and have them diagnose and verify that it is the problem.
