2001 Volvo S80 Acceleration
My Volvo has recently begun experiencing difficulty in accelerating, not responding to pushing on the gas pedal and hesitating to accelerate around 30 mph.
Also, today it basically refuses to go more than 30 mph?

This question was asked few years ago but according to my knowledge n research it might be the transmission. Your transmission is from Chevy. I still don't know why volvo thought of doing this. Usually it fails a little bit after 100,000 miles.
