I can't seem to find the drain plug for my transmission. Talked to the people at Kragen and they said i need 3.2 quarts of automatice transmission fluid, but I don't think that is right. Can you please tell me how many quarts of ATF i need?

And a step by step on changing the transmission fluid.

Had same trouble you spoke of, so i drained my trans into large pan and measure it into a gallon jug. the best i can estimate i put in 7 quarts with a filter change. i would probably put in six quarts and then crank the engine and see how close this is.

To change remove the belly pan.there are i think 10 or 12 bolts holding the trans pan on. be prepared to get oily. drain into large pan be careful when removing filter there is a large oil ring that can come off the filter and stay stuck in the hole that the filter goes in . make sure to remove out of this area. new filter comes with oil ring
