1998 Volvo S70 Front Wheel Drive Automatic 90000 miles

bought used s70. For a while now the key cylinder just turns and turns until it finally "catches" and starts the engine. Is there some way to tighten the key cylinder or realign it so it works like it's supposed to?

Either the key cylinder is worn or the control arm is if you get like a sloppy feel, but if it feels like normally just not working properly you proably need a new ignition switch.
