Engine Performance problem
1998 Volvo S70 Two Wheel Drive Manual 155000 miles

my r reg volvo s70loses acceleration and bucks. it can do it even if just cruising but is worse when stopping at lights/junctions etc. seems to have no power to pull away, just bucks. . gets worse on long journeys and will stall if u have to stop when its really upset and then it can struggle to restart

Inspect and test all the following listed below:

Oxygen sensor.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
False air leakage.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard.
