Electrical problem
2001 Volvo S60 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Hi,

My car wouldn't start sometimes, few months back so I went to auto zone and got a new battery. I've installed everything no problem. Now something It happened 3 times the car will not start at all, I turn the key and nothing light up on the dashboard, I can't even lock the car with the electronic key. So I have to jump the car then the car works fine for few weeks. After changing the battery I've changed the connectors to make sure the old one were not interfering with the new battery.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be...
Thanks For any advices

You sure its got nothing to do with the vehicle security system-if not get the battery load tested if okay do the same with the alternator. You beginning to make me think a short circuit with the electrical system that's draining the battery.
