I can't find my cabin airfilter can you please help me locate it

IT is under the dash above the brake pedal. A few things need to be removed to access it including the accelerator pedal.

I would agree on the passenger side for the early 2004 4-cyls. The later 2004 5 cyls are on the driver's side, according to what I show. Sice the poster wrote 6 cylinder. Which there never was one in the 2004 s-40 as far as I know, I went with the 5 cyl. If any of this helps.

Half the time I chase after the damn things, they don't seem to have one when I get there anyways lol.
