Engine Mechanical problem
1998 Volvo C70 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 120000 miles

Car was driving fine and then it just started knocking.
I think it is the oil pump but not sure because I was
told this car has a knock sensor? How difficult would it
be to replace the oil pump on this type of car?

If your engine is already knocking then I think you should get it checked out for engine damage. Also have oil pressure checked out. Low oil pressure is usually from the oil pick up tube seals leaking inside the pan. Another quick way to check for that is while the vehicle is running pull the dipstick out and look at the oil. If it is foaming then that is air due to the leaking seals.
