1994 Volvo 940 Radio

I am trying to install an XM radio in my 75 year old aunts volvo so I am trying to pull the radio out to make the connections. How does it come out I don't wan't to break anything. It should slide out
but I can't see anything to trip? HELP I will be ther for thanksgiving and I want to fix it for her.

John, if you want it done by thanksgiving, your running out of time. The dash trim around the radio should pop free from the dash. You may have to pull a few knobs for it to clear. I always hesitate to do this in cold weather 'cause the plastic is brittle. Once you have the trim out of the way, the radio should unscrew and pull out.
