My Volvo 850 has a intermittent AC cooling problem. In the AUT selection the AC will cool great and after a few miles will go warm. It has fresh Freon and has no leaks. If I turn it off and let it stay in the off position and recycle both the AUT switch and the AC switch it will begin working again for a while and repeat the same thing. What's your take on this?
Thanks

Need to see if the a/c clutch is still engaged when it is blowing warm. If it isnt, then use atets light to see if there is power to teh a/c clutch, if it has power and isnt engaged then th eclutch assembly is bad, if no power, then get back to me and I will tell you where to start testing

When it acts up-do you see the AC and Rec switch flash or comes on when ignition is turn on and flash for 20secs-if so get the ECC module scanned for code/s and comeback with it if there's any-
