Last night when I started my car, the seat belt warning would not stop (yes I buckled up) and it is still dinging whenever the key is in the ignition. The radio, dome light, and clock also wouldn't turn on, and they had all worked just an hour before. I was a little rough with the key because it was dark and I had to jab around a bit to find the slot. I noted that all these items are on different fuses, so I figured there was some sort of short, but I have no idea where, and fear bringing it into the shop as I have put too much money into it lately.
My lights, signals, and heater are fine. The ding seems to change volume as I drive.

Might be a problem at the ignition switch. There are little contacts in there so when the key is put in the chime will ring. It is also where the power comes from for the accessories. Check all fuses first, may have blown one coincidentally
