hi i have a 1990 volvo 740 turbo i replaced the battery and the alternator a few days ago , question is when its cold out say 30 or colder it wont start you have to jump it cause it cranks so long it kills the battery but when you get it started and in warmer weather it runs fine just wont start in the cold any ideas

HARD TO START - COLD ENGINE

Ensure spark plugs fire strong Blue-White spark.
Check distributor.
Ensure fuel pressure is correct.
Check ignition timing.
Check throttle switch and connector.
Check engine compression.
