I have charged the battery and had the alternator tested but the car still wont start. Cab you please help me

Try these free tricks first.
Do you hear the fuel pump when you turn the key on? not start just on position.
You should hear it briefly like 2 sec or less.
If not check the fuse & relay.
Now this is a idea that works more often than not with the fuel pump issues, under the left side of car near the center you will see the pump take wrench and just tap on lightly also check the connections.
These older pumps have a tenancy to "stick" and light tap sometimes frees them up.

Spark fuel compression!!!
