Electrical problem
1987 Volvo 240 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

Last week my turn signals stopped working. The hazard lights still function so I believe that the relay is still ok. There is power to the fuse and the signal stalk but the signals themselves do not work.

T/signals adn hazards share teh same flasher, so you may be looking at a bad turn signal switch. Do they light up at all? If not and there is power in and the hazards work it could be the switch

Hmmmm, a strange thing happened today. The seat belt light and a buzzer turned on when I put the switch in both positions. Then the signals began to work. Does this indicate there is a short or a ground issue? If so, where is the ground for this circuit.
