If I understand you correctly you have a radiator leak? Are you sure that is where it is coming from?
As for the super sealer the water will be diluted in the solution and for the short time it is in there should not hurt. I am not sure what the Prestone says to do but do that if the water part concerns you.
Me I have more concern with putting a sealer in the system. There are so many things that have small ports for the fluid to go through that one of them could get clogged. The radiator has a ton of small ports that need to be clear so the fluid can move freely and be cooled. Thermostats can be plugged, your heater core inside the car can also be plugged. These are not fun to replace and can be costly.
Do what you feel you need to do but depending on the leak you may be better off getting it fixed. Again, where is it leaking from?
