Engine Mechanical problem
1999 Volkswagen Passat 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
I have a 1999 VW Passat with 134000mi I recently bought a code reader to read my check engine light. The codes read; P1136, P1138 and P1250. I cannot find the definition for codes P1250, and P1136,P1138 read O2 senser heater circit - High-Low. When driving the car frequently it sputters down the road. What should I do?

Hi prunedalemary,

I am unable to get any info on the P1250. You sure it is the correct code?

Your other codes points to vacumn leakages. Check for any broken or disconnected vacumn hose or leakages at intake manifold.
