Greetings from sunny exeter, devon. Hope you can help me? I have recently bought myself a vw golf 1993 mk3, 1.8, 12000 miles on the clock, anyway the problem is that when I turn to the left there is an almost grinding sound. It dosnt happen when turned to the right. Sometimes it makes a dong sound if turned on full lock to the left, the sort of noise youd get if you were to stand on the bonnet of a car, (not that ive done that!)
